Drupal is a "best-in-class" content management system. Drupal offers capabilities to create on-line books, forums, web pages, e-commerce storefronts, RSS feeds and more. Its powerful permissions system allows the administrator to safely divide up the content management duties between individuals or departments to allow for more convenient and frequent updates without specialized software.
QuickBooks is the ubiquitous software package for small business. It also offers customer account management capability, however it is normally available only in the office setting. Using WebConnect, it is possible for scheduled synchronization of QuickBooks with an online e-commerce site, for example, or other sales data.
